Mother Nature can be fickle. Today she is perhaps punishing us for yesterday’s glorious fall day by sending buckets of rain our way.
Environment Canada is predicting a wet day, with heavy rain until late morning, then tapering off to showers for the rest of Sunday.
The weather service is predicting 15 to 25 mm of rain, with winds from the east at 20 km/h. The high should reach 10 C and drop a bit to 8 C this evening.
We should see drizzle through the evening.
Monday is expected to be another dull day with cloudy skies, a 40 per cent chance of drizzle and a high of 12 C.
However, skies should clear on Monday night and a mix of sun and cloud is predicted for Tuesday and Wednesday with highs of 12 and 9 C respectively.
Remember, this is the last day for driving the parkways in Gatineau Park before they close for the season.
